Configuring UF Exchange in iPhone 3G


Step 1:
To ensure best results either connect to wireless(Wi-Fi) or be sure that you have a 3G connection before proceeding with this setup

Step 2:
From Home screen tap Settings


Step 3:
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars


Step 4:
Tap Add Account


Step 5:
Tap Microsoft Exchange


Step 6:
Enter the following information

  1. In email field enter “gatorlink@ufl.edu” Example: at-svc-helpdesk@ufl.edu
  2. In username field enter “ufad\username” Example: ufad\at-svc-helpdesk
  3. In password field enter “password” Example: *******
  4. In description field enter “UF Exchange” (Case sensitive)

Step 7:
Tap Next


Step 8:
In server field enter “mail.ufl.edu” Example: mail.ufl.edu


Step 9:
Tap Next

Step 10:
Make sure that Mail, Contacts, Calendars are all set to the “ON” feature


Step 11:
Tap Save

Step 12:
You will be prompted to enter a passcode (PIN).


Step 13:
Tap Continue

Step 14:
Please enter a 4 digit PIN that you would like to use for this mobile device.

Step 15:
You are now finished and your iPhone will begin synchronization of your UF Exchange Account
