Migration to UF Exchange

If you are an employee of a unit planning to migrate to UF Exchange, consult your Local IT support for the timing and process of your migration to UF Exchange.

Changes to Note for those Migrating to UF Exchange

Action is required to manage and retain your mail. Because of UF retention of e-mail policies, e-mail received more than 365 days ago will be automatically moved from your INBOX (and INBOX subfolders) and Sent Items folder (and Sent Items subfolders) to the Deleted Items folder. The mail that is moved will be permanently deleted after 30 days unless you take action to move the mail to a folder you create outside of the INBOX. See Managing Mail for further explanation. View a 5 minute video on this process by selecting UF Exchange – Manage My Mail.

There is a new web interface to check your e-mail. To sign-on to UF Exchange, click Outlook Web Access on this page and use your GatorLink username and password to sign in.

If you have a mobile device, a PIN will be required. After migration, your device will prompt you to enter a 4-digit PIN (or password). For security reasons, you will need to re-enter the PIN after 15 minutes of inactivity

You may see spam digest messages. The new spam filtering features will notify you via email about messages that have been identified as spam. It is best to check these messages until you are satisfied that the classifications are correct.
