UF Exchange Support Community
UF Exchange will debut with Exchange 2007 services in January of 2008. A support community is being formed to help technical staff members provide support to their UF Exchange users. As your department adopts UF Exchange, your support staff members will be identified and they will be trained and provided with access to the support community resources.

Email Configurations
- Supported Protocols
o MAPI - Outlook client connections to an Exchange mailbox sever (MBX).
o IMAPS - Windows Mail, Outlook Express, Thunderbird secure inbound email client connections to an Exchange Client Access Server (CAS).
o SMTPS - Windows Mail, Outlook Express, Thunderbird secure outbound email client connections to an Exchange Client Access Server (CAS).
o Outlook Web Access (OWA) - Browser based email connections to an Exchange Client Access Server (CAS).
o Outlook Anywhere (RPC/HTTP) - Outlook client connections to an Exchange Client Access Server (CAS) for secure remote access without a VPN.
o Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) - Windows Mobile device connections to an Exchange Client Access Server (CAS). - Configuration Settings
o MAPI - mapi.mail.ufl.edu - mail server for campus workstation, cached mode should be used.
o IMAP - imap.mail.ufl.edu - for incoming mail server for on campus workstation, requires SSL authentication.
o SMTP - smtp.mail.ufl.edu - for outgoing mail server on or off campus workstation, requires SSL authentication.
