Third-party Bulk Email Services

To ensure delivery of emails sent from any ufl.edu domain or subdomain through a third-party email marketing platform (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.), account managers need to complete the email domain authentication process.

Setting up domain authentication varies depending on the vendor. In most cases, the vendor requires publishing a Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) record that will authenticate emails sent from any ufl.edu domain or subdomain.

If you manage an account on an email marketing platform for your college, department, or unit, refer to the guidance below and work with UFIT to complete the domain authentication process.

The process of configuring email domain authentication is as follows:

  1. Locate your vendor’s documentation on email domain authentication. Refer to the documentation below for commonly used third-party bulk email platforms
  2. Submit a support request to UFIT. Include the specific domain authentication (DKIM) information from your vendor. If you are unable to find your vendor’s domain authentication instructions just let us know
  3. UFIT completes the configuration on our systems for email domain authentication
